DETAILS
Encompass Community Supports provides nutritious, frozen meals to adults 60 and over who are unable to leave their homes due to illness, disability, or frailty and who have no assistance preparing meals. All meals are delivered on a set monthly schedule.
Our meals are developed and based on guidelines from the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS). These meals are low in sugar and salt to accommodate individuals with special diets.
Donations are encouraged to help offset costs.
Recipients of these home delivered meals have said:
“They are easy to prepare in the microwave and that’s great!”
“I feel blessed to receive these meals. Thank you for getting me involved in this program.”
“They are easy to eat, and I think they are very good for a frozen meal.”
